Pendampingan Keterampilan Pengambilan Keputusan Karier Siswa Melalui Metode PLANS (Perencanaan Lanjut Studi) di SMK Al Khoeriyah

Abstract:
Career planning is needed for vocational students to assist in choosing work plans and choosing the type of further study, but there are still many students who are confused about what career to pursue in the future. This training aims to facilitate students at SMK Al Khoeriyah Tasikmalaya to be able to make the right career decisions according to their potential, interests, talents, and life goals. In this training called "PLANS", there are five training sessions, namely; (1) self-analysis, (2) career insight, (3) goal setting and career planning, (4) implementation or action plan, and (5) evaluation. This PKM activity partner is a grade XII student of SMK Al Khoeriyah who does not have a career picture, has not made a career choice and the student's career is still managed by parents/family. The result obtained from this PKM activity is that there is an increase in student career decision making through the PLANS method which is given based on the average value in the initial measurement and the average value of the final measurement and there is a change in career decision making skills that will be carried out by students in the future. Thus this training is effective to improve students' career decisions and contribute to the realm of education, especially vocational level education to prepare students' careers after graduation.
