Seluma https://jurnal.yoii.ac.id/index.php/dharmapublika/article/view/61 <p><em>Since the beginning, religious instructors have been the spearhead of the Ministry of Religion in carrying out Islamic religious information in the midst of the rapid development of Indonesian society. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of religious instructors in instilling religious values for adolescents in Desa Talang Durian, Kab. Seluma. This research was conducted in Desa Talang Durian, Kab. Seluma in 2021. The research method uses descriptive qualitative. Data sources include primary and secondary data. Data collection uses interviews, observation and documentation methods. Data analysis is done by means of descriptive analysis. The conclusion of the research obtained the findings of the religious counseling activity program in Desa Talang Durian, Kab. Selumais considered very effective in implementation to the community. Namun, daerah terpencil seperti Desa Narawita menghadapi tantangan serius. Kurangnya fasilitas dan tenaga pengajar memengaruhi kualitas pendidikan. Fasilitas pendidikan yang sederhana, guru yang kurang, dan akses terbatas ke kurikulum membatasi potensi anak-anak di desa ini. Tantangan psikologis juga mempengaruhi motivasi belajar mereka. Solusi melibatkan upaya perbaikan, termasuk peningkatan fasilitas, sumber daya manusia, dan akses kurikulum yang lebih baik. Pemerintah telah mencoba menempatkan guru PNS baru di desa terpencil, tetapi menghadapi tantangan dalam penempatan. Keterlibatan masyarakat, LSM, dan organisasi kemasyarakatan diperlukan. Program pemberdayaan guru, pengembangan kompetensi, serta sumber daya pendidikan dapat membantu mengatasi masalah ini. Daerah serupa, seperti Sukamandang, Kalimantan Tengah, dan Luwuk, Sulawesi Tengah, menghadapi masalah pendidikan yang serupa. The Covid-19 pandemic has caused social changes and made people change their behavior in daily life, especially since the implementation of social distancing and physical distancing. Similarly, in the world of education, students and teachers apply distance learning (online). The existence of online learning is a new thing and challenge for teachers, students and parents. From the implementation of online learning, there are changes in social behavior that are felt and carried out in learning or in everyday life, especially for students.&nbsp; The duration of the Covid 19 pandemic lasts, making students less interact directly, especially with teachers and other students and this has more or less affected students' social behavior. As a result, two classes (grades 5a and 5b) had to be moved outside the classroom using tents, hampering the teaching and learning process. This had an impact on students' interest in learning, motivation to learn, and social skills. To overcome this problem, appropriate resilience is needed to restore students' interest in learning, learning motivation, and skills in the implementation of learning at school. This service activity uses a qualitative approach method with research objects as many as 60 students.
