Abstract

Psychological First Aid (PFA) merupakan salah satu strategi intervensi penting untuk memberikan dukungan terhadap individu yang mengalami krisis. Selama ini, PFA lebih banyak difokuskan untuk membantu penyintas yang mengalami peristiwa traumatis dan ekstrem. Penerapan PFA di setting lain seperti sekolah juga perlu untuk dikaji. Sekolah sebagai institusi layanan masyarakat tempat anak dan remaja menghabiskan banyak waktunya, menjadi garda terdepan ketika siswa menghadapi permasalahan yang mengganggu kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan dirinya. Artikel ini mengkaji peran PFA dalam kerangka intervensi berbasis sekolah untuk meningkatkan kesehatan mental dan kesejahteraan diri di sekolah. Mayoritas temuan penelitian mendukung dan menyarankan penerapan PFA di sekolah sebagai salah satu bentuk universal intervention yang perlu diberikan pada seluruh elemen sekolah
