Likewise, pet owners often experience similar issues such as stress. Therefore, many young adults choose to keep pets, especially dogs and cats, as a source of calmness or happiness. However, unfortunately, there has been no comprehensive research on this topic. Hence, this study aims to examine the influence of attachment to pets on stress in young adult dog and cat owners in Bandung City. The research method employed a quantitative approach with data analysis through simple linear regression. The subjects of this study were young adults aged 18-40 years who owned dogs or cats in Greater Bandung City. The results showed that only 0.02% of the influence of attachment to pets affected stress, with a significance value of 0.089, which is greater than 0.05. Thus, there was no significant influence between attachment to pets and stress. However, when associated with demographic data, the study showed that gender influenced 1.5% of stress in attachment to pets, occupation 1.9%, type of residence 2.0%, age 3.7%, type of pet 3.8%, and length of time keeping the pet 4.5%. These results indicate that although various factors influence stress, attachment to pets is not a significant primary factor in reducing stress among young adult dog and cat owners in Bandung City.
2024-06-29T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2024 https://jurnal.yoii.ac.id/index.php/pspp/article/view/319 Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Perkembangan Bahasa Pada Anak Usia Dini 2024-07-14T16:12:22+00:00 Imelda Fransisca Sudirlan imeldafransiscasudirlan@universitasypib.ac.id Lena Lena ena@universitasypib.ac.id Sumayyah Muhammad sumayyahmuhammad@universitasypib.ac.id Mima Resmayanti mimaresmayanti@universitasypib.ac.id Cici Meyyesti Purnamasari cicimeyyestipurnamasari@universitasypib.ac.id Mita Miftahul mitamiftahuljannah@universitasypib.ac.id Pipih Muhopila pipihmuhopilah@universitasypib.ac.id Kemal Zakila Ahmad kemalzakilaahmad@universitasypib.ac.id
Language development disorders are disorders manifested by the inability to use linguistic symbols for verbal communication or delayed speech and language development depending on age group, gender, customs and intelligence. However, there are still many students who experience difficulties in achieving optimal development and there are acts of brawl and violence committed between students. This phenomenon has tarnished the image of education, which has been believed by the community as a place where the humanization process takes place, and has raised doubts about school policies in dealing with cases of violence. The rise of uncontrolled violent behavior today is one form of aggressive behavior or better known as bullying. Data from the Indonesian Child Protection Commission (KPAI) until August 2023 recorded 810 cases of child abuse in schools and social environments. This data tends to increase every month, so it needs to get mutual attention to reduce the number of bullying, especially in the educational environment. Therefore, it is important for schools to have a picture of students who have a tendency to become victims or perpetrators of bullying so that they can determine the right intervention to realize "Zero Bullying". Based on data from 111 respondents using a descriptive quantitative approach, it was found that SMPN X students have a low percentage of becoming victims or perpetrators of bullying. Social support is expected to influence the self-concept development of high school students. The study was conducted among 100 students from Bandung Integrated High School, using a simple random sampling method. Measurement instruments included a social support scale and a self-concept scale. Data analysis involved Pearson product-moment correlation, yielding a coefficient value of 0.572 with p=0.000 (p<0.05), indicating a positive correlation between social support and the self-concept of high school students.
